In case you weren't able to find all of the mistakes in yesterday's post about the importance of copyediting, here are the answers:
Pictures
- Synergy Fitness Poster - there should be no apostrophe in "your's"
- Campbell's Ad - "doesen't" is spelled wrong
- History Channel Newspaper Ad - incorrect use of "then" in the headline (should be "than")
My Own Mistakes (done on purpose)
- It said, "You're next oil change is due [...]". (period should be inside the end quotes)
- ...but no one on the corporate ladder noticed the grammer mistake... (grammar is misspelled)
- ...business cards to billboard's... (no apostrophe in "billboards")
- ...essential to demonstrating quality, and professionalism... (no comma after "quality")
- Please do yourself, you're clients, and me a favor... (incorrect use of "your")
It said, "You're next oil change is due [...]". (period should be inside the end quotes)
I believe the wrong form of "You're" is also used in the ad.

Yes, you're absolutely right. The mistake I intentionally made here was to put the period outside of the end quotes. The mistake that the oil change company made was "you're." That's the mistake that started this whole topic... my friend was so annoyed by it that she took it off her car to show me. Good call!
